Artist Statement (Blog #1)
Hello, people reading my blog. Nice to meet you! My name is Yufan Liu and I was born on September 28, 1999 in good 'ole Brooklyn. I moved around a lot as a child. I lived in China until I was about 4 and then moved back to Brooklyn. Then, the Summer after I finished 1st grade, I moved with my parents to York, PA. Life was great there, there was a lot of open space and I went to 2 different schools, the latter being the better one. And then again, in the beginning of 4th grade, me, my parents and my brother moved back to Brooklyn. Growing up, my interests and future aspirations changed constantly. I wanted to become a teacher, a detective, an author, a vet, and so on and so forth. I never knew what I wanted to do with my life (and still don't).
